At Silvergate Protection Dogs, it's our goal to provide you with peace of mind. Our dogs are put through well thought out training regimens and a host of realistic scenarios before being delivered to you. Solid genetics, quality training, and an enabling environment provide the perfect mix for an ideal protection dog. We will not sell any dog that does not pass our stringent selection and training process.
LEVEL 1 PROTECTION DOGS
Our level 1 protection dogs are trained to alert on a potential threat on command or when confronted. They are supposed to provide a visual threat that hopefully scares the attacker away. Although they are trained to bite, dogs of this level are not expected to engage an intruder in a real life scenario as their only function is to provide a convincing visual deterrent.
LEVEL 2 PROTECTION DOGS
Our level 2 protection dogs are trained to alert on potential threats, engage with an intruder when commanded or attacked, and recall back to the handler. These dogs are ready to protect you at home, in your car, and in public places. These are not savage attack dogs but well trained protection dogs that are safe to walk around in public, yet ready to protect you in a moment's notice!

Our level 3 protection dogs are taught how to navigate more complex scenarios such as building searches of your homes and offices to ensure they are safe in situations where you suspect the presence of intruders. Other advanced exercises that can be taught yo your level 3 dog include:
-Dealing with obstacles
-Multiple attackers scenarios
-Transporting an attacker
-Stopped attacks
